The Flush, The Pair, and The Power Word Kill is a cooperative role-playing game for anywhere between two and four players, with rules and scenarios refereed and presented by the Dealer. It uses a single standard deck of cards divided into its four suits. The Dealer guides the narrative of the game along the actions of the Players. A single one-shot game can run anywhere between two and four hours.

The premise of the game is playing as a small posse of Wizards bringing justice to a magical wasteland in a classic Western style, dealing with Monstrous Outlaws who terrorise the borderlands. Armed with spell-shooting wands, riding beasts and wide brim hats to fight off the sun, you are the only hope for the Arcane Borderlands.
